Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025
If you have never experienced the Magic Kingdom around Halloween time, maybe 2025 is the year!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom Park this year with more surprises and fun than ever!
This fall, ghosts and ghouls of all ages are invited to don their favorite costumes and celebrate all things haunted during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Taking place on select nights Aug. 15 through October 31, 2025, this special event haunts Magic Kingdom Park after normal park operating hours from 7 p.m. to midnight.
🎃 13 Reasons Why I LOVE Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom 🎃
1. You Can Trick-or-Treat in Magic Kingdom
Your whole family…. Even you, a full-grown adult, can get dressed up and fill a bag with candy at the Most Magical Place on Earth. It’s like reliving childhood… but with Mickey!
2. Exclusive Entertainment You Can’t See Any Other Time
From the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular to the Boo-To-You Parade, this party has entertainment you won’t see on a regular park day. And trust me: the grave diggers and their sparking shovels in the parade? Always a crowd favorite.
3. Lower Wait Times for Popular Rides
Most rides are open—and many have super short lines since only party guests are in the park. Ever wanted to ride Space Mountain in near darkness with Halloween music blasting? This is your chance!
4. Seriously Impressive Costumes
Guests go all out! You’ll see everything from family-themed costumes to full-blown Disney cosplay. It's like Halloween Comic-Con meets Main Street, U.S.A.
5. Magic Shots and Rare Character Meet-and-Greets
This is one of the only times you’ll see characters like Jack and Sally or all seven dwarfs together—and you can snag unique photos with them (or spooky photo pass effects!).
6. The Atmosphere is Magical
The park transforms with eerie lighting, fall décor, spooky background music, and fog drifting through the air. It’s Halloween vibes without being too scary—just the right amount of spook.
7. Halloween Fireworks Spectacular
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is hosted by Jack Skellington and features projections, fireworks, and lasers that only happen during party nights. It’s a visual treat you don’t want to miss.
8. Exclusive Halloween Snacks & Merch
We’re talking themed cupcakes, churros, popcorn buckets, and merch you can only get during party season. It’s a merch-lover’s dream.
9. You Get to Be in the Park After Dark
There’s something extra fun about being in Magic Kingdom at night—it feels more special and less hectic, especially during a ticketed event like this.
10. You Can Arrive Early with a Party Ticket
Even though the party starts at 7 PM, guests can enter the park as early as 4 PM with just the party ticket—hello, extra magic hours!
11. It’s Perfect for All Ages
Whether you’re bringing toddlers, teens, or just going with fellow adults, the party balances spooky and sweet in a way that works for everyone.
12. It’s a Great Excuse to Dress Up at Disney
Normally adults can’t wear costumes in the parks, but MNSSHP is the one time you can go all in. Want to be a Disney villain for the night? Do it.
13. It Makes Halloween Feel Like a Big Deal Again
Between the nostalgia, the over-the-top fun, and the Disney magic, this party makes you feel like a kid again—and honestly, who doesn’t need that? It gives the entire family a time to enjoy the Halloween feels together!
